Pallflex TV2 medium is a barrier to airborne microbial contaminants. It is a hydrophobic material composed of randomly distributed glass microfibers reinforced with woven glass fabric. The composite is saturated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and a silicone formulation that coats the fiber and cloth as an inert and high temperature binder. This treatment increases resistance to oil and body fluid penetration.
